Description
End-to-End transport support options assist self-sufficient walkers tackle this walk independently. There are three transport support options, depending on choices about arrival, walk start/finish points, locations for vehicle parking, and group size.

From $325 per group of 1-4 (BYO vehicle); $575 per group of 4+ (our minibus); $675 per group of 4+ (our minibus)
OPTION 1 – YAMBA OR RED ROCK VEHICLE PARKING/START-FINISH $575
Suits those that arrive in the region without a vehicle, or who want to park their vehicle(s) in Yamba/Angourie and walk south, or Red Rock and walk north (parking at trail start is possible but not recommended).
- Leave your vehicle(s) at a suitable location (such as at a hotel/motel or caravan park site in Yamba/Angourie or Red Rock).
- Make your way (via hotel shuttle, local taxi or other lift) to track start point.
- Camp or rent tourist cabins along the way and carry camping gear and food accordingly.
- We provide return transport to your vehicle(s), our Track Info Pack and an emergency point of contact support.
OPTION 2 (A and B) – MINNIE WATER VEHICLE PARKING/START-FINISH $325 – $675
This option suits those that want to park their vehicle(s) in Minnie Water (Central Yuraygir), allowing them to access clothes or food supplies halfway through the walk, or offload clothes or waste (and therefore carry less).
- Leave vehicle(s) with us in our secure central location and access as needed.
- We take you to the trail start. This can be either (A) in our van, or (B) in your vehicle. (see below)
- Camp or rent tourist cabins along the way and carry camping gear and food accordingly.
- We provide return transport to your vehicle(s), our Track Info Pack and an emergency point of contact support.
This option splits into 2 further choices, depending on group size:
(A) Transport in our vehicle (large groups 4-12) $675
(B) Transport in your vehicle (small groups 1-4, relevant insurance and waiver required) $325
3 girlfriends and I completed the 4 day self guided walk from Angourie to Red Rock. Something about the beauty, serenity, peace and spirit has seeped into my soul and is still lingering there. This is a very special part of the world and it was a privilege to walk it. Adrian at Yuraygir Walking Experiences coordinated our river crossings and final pick up and answered all our questions during the planning stage. His knowledge and advice was just fabulous. I would recommend the walk to anyone with an average level of fitness and above. ACCOMMODATION
Customers are responsible for booking their accommodation either in cabins/holiday houses en route, or camping in the National Park (online booking in some sites and fees apply). There can be limited availability and elevated costs during School or other holiday periods.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE:
- Group Price/Max numbers – This support option operates with a fixed group price. There is no additional discounting for larger groups. We have a maximum capacity of 12 walkers.
- Private Walks – We reserve the right to offer places to others that directly coincide with the initiating group, unless they specify that the booking to be a private group booking. In this case we will require an additional group fee of $50 to ensure this exclusivity.
- Your Vehicle – Option 1 involves you making your own arrangements for secure parking of your vehicle in the Yamba/Angourie Area, or the Red Rock Area. Option 2B uses your vehicle for transport to keep costs low for small groups (<4). Our drivers are over 40, but you should check if you need to add us to your insurance policy. Note our terms and conditions indemnify us in relation to your vehicle.
- Start Place and Time – by arrangement and subject to which of the options is selected:

- Option 1 involves independent arrangements for getting to the walk start from where your vehicle is parked (eg Yamba). We then pick you up from your walk finish point (eg Red Rock) to return you to your vehicle on the day and time you would like to travel.
- Option 2 involves meeting in Minnie Water on the morning of your first walking day at our agreed meeting place, leaving enough time to travel to the walk start and to complete the walk (5-7 hours).
- Selection of dates – These walks are open to your choice of dates, however, we recommend walking in cooler months of the year, and to avoid peak holiday periods.
- Weekend/Holiday surcharge – a surcharge of $25/group will be added to your invoice per weekend or public holiday day that involves transport services to cover our extra wage costs. We will invoice for surcharges either at or after confirming your booking.
- Confirmation – These walks are subject to availability of various resources. When you book, confirmation will be provided after we ensure resource availability.
- Conditions – Should you find that you are unable to find suitable accommodation at the time of your booking, we cannot take responsibility for any resulting forfeiture. Please be aware that in making a booking, you will be bound by our terms and conditions regarding cancellations and changes of plan.
- EPIRB Hire – You are welcome to hire our EPIRB for an additional $10/day. You may prefer to download and use the Emergency + App.
